WHERE SCIENCE MEETS ART…
My passion for photography and storytelling flourished while I was obtaining my Masters degree in Biotechnology and working full time in the industry. My unique background in the sciences set my work apart as it influenced my approach to analyzing and interpreting light, thus elevating every frame to new heights; resulting in images that were captivating, timelines and authentic. My photographic passions included editorial portraiture, weddings, fashion and commercial projects.
After 10 life changing years owning a photography business while dually working in the biotechnology industry, and growing my family, life looks much different these days. Closing this amazing business i built was not bittersweet, it was just time and I feel fulfilled in everything I accomplished. My first passion was always the sciences, working in some of the top leading companies in the US and contributing to several marketed drugs that have improved patient lives globally. My scientific career is 18 years strong and I still have a lot to give to that industry. Photography was the biggest surprise of my life, starting a business was never something I ever imagined I would do and yet it gave me some of the best life experiences and life long friendships.
What a journey its been, someday I may pick up my camera professionally again, but until then I will continue to enjoy the new phases in my life and continue to pursue my goal to leave a lasting contribution in the scientific space. https://www.linkedin.com/in/matolipaul/
